My Hero's back!

The mood set in when we all stood for AR Rehman's version of Jan.Gan.Man. - Airtel's campaign for India's 60th Swatantrata Diwas. We were in PVR, and were just about to watch Chak De! (Did something atleast, close to being patriotic). But must say, I came out with a chest bloated with a funny kinda pride. Don't ask me what that means. Brilliant film. So predictable, yet so endearing. But the only thing that really struck me bad was the fact that, all the fair skinned and pretty looking babes got all the limelight in the film. Preeti Sabhrawal, Bindya naik, Vidya Sharma, Komal Chautala. Whatever happened to the Jharkhandis, i don't know. Looking too close i guess. Nevermind. The film was just plain nice. Shahrukh is back! After Swades, feels like he has finally risen from his deep slumber. Am glad he didn't brood too much in Chak De! Though his character demanded quite a bit of brooding...but he pulled it off...thankfully he didn't carry the Kabhi Alvida Na kehna hangover. Good watch.
