The big put OFF
Buy one get two free, buy three get 70% off on the fourth garment, buy a trouser get 50% off on the shirt, buy a bra, get a panty free, buy two pairs of shoes get a pair of sock absolutely free, make a billing worth 5000 win a trip to Singapore..#$^$%&^%**@!$%^&*
The end of season sale is getting on my nerves! I get out of the house and all I see are those sale hoardings. Open the newspaper and you see red sale ads screaming out loud. Come to work and hear the same shit, see the same shit and talk to clients about the same shit. Arrrgh!
And these sale ads and promotions only get more creative with every season, thanks to the profession I belong to. But by far i think the most creatively annoying retailer is Kishore Biyani. Big Bazaar's 'No margin week', '356th or something week anniversary sale' 'mega flat 50% off', 'the great exchange offer''Maha savings day', 'the Wednesday- cheapest day sale', are by all means the funniest, strangest and most effective sales promotions campaigns. I still don't see how people can buy all year round from Big Bazaar, just cause they are on sale- and they are ALWAYS on sale. Just imagining the queue at the billing counter sends a chill down my spine, not to mention the insane amount of people squeezed under one roof- the number of floors are imaterial, really.
Funny or not, these offers are putting me off. Its a different matter that i don't have the money to buy things even if they are dirt cheap! Every possible brand is on sale, and every goddamn product one can imagine of, has a bloody offer.
The most baffling of all offers that I have heard of is the "independence day offer'. I mean, what next? Fathers day, mothers day, sisters day, neighbours day, pets day, bah!
