Last nite i watched Majid Majidi's 'Color of Paradise'.
Color of paradise is a film which speaks the universal language of cinema- it is about love and belongingness. It is about appreciating small things in life...about treasuring what you have .....
The story revolves around Mohammad,a 9-10 year old kid. He is like every other kid- just that he is blind. Being blind only makes Mohammad more sensitive to the things and people around him. what goes in the movie is somehting i have not experienced before in any film- the scenic beauty of Iran is breath taking- and the story line will leave you cuddling your loved ones tighter.
I still have Mohammad's voice ringing in my mind....'barahieh....Hanieh....aaaajeeee..'
