I wish i had

baked those cup cakes . I just had such a foot in the mouth moment. Half an hour after the earlier post, the man comes home with an FCUK dress and a while later my favourite flowers.

And now, I don't know whether to laugh or cry :).

Stumped! Floored! Totally in shock :)

(How awful do I feel at the moment? Not very, coz secretly I am all squish squash in my heart and going awwww).

@mangoman: they aren't one bit important. The gesture is. A hug would do too. And this is not a compulsion.. Butbetween my man and me we make an effort to make some days special. One loses nothing by making the other smile in a relationship. Perhapsmy first in nearly a decade that I got a 'formal gift' frm him. Different couples function differently :).

never underestimate "HIM" !!

I got blown away as well - flowers got delivered at office - and Matt my colleague received it on my behalf - and there he was kneeling at my desk "will you be my valentine"... scary at first till I realized J had them sent across :-P
