  This time I had sworn to pay attention during the puja, and not let my mind wander. (Why does my mind tour around restaurants and food every time I need to focus on something?). So when the Pujari started the Satyanarana katha, I was all ears. Weird as it may sound,  I found this puja one of the more convenient truths of our times. The katha says, 'the satyanarayana vratham is the best puja that a human can perform on planet earth, in the kalyuga. It scores high in terms of convenience and power. Convenient because, it can be held on any day, by anyone and is a one-stop-shop for curing all your miseries and ailments in the modern times. You can ask for money, health, santaan, property, abroad travel, jobs, family well being....:) All this in one puja. And the Puja rates high in popularity and is tried and tested to be very very effective.

And just like the Puja, the Pujari was also super cool. He  holds a Phd in Rig Veda, and is planning on starting a website for his 'Godly business'. His theory  - just like a doctor prescribes different treatment for various ailments,likewise, the pujari will prescribe the best suited Puja for respective miseries, all on his website. He is willing to travel across cities to offer his services and  believes this generation must be approached  and serviced 'their' way. Hence the website.

The rate at which we are going, won't be long before we have blue tooth pujas.
