Envelope art

As a kid, I spent more time decorating the envelopes than actually writing the letter inside it.

All letters marked to my friends would have these messages on the backside of the envelope:

"Run postman run, or I'll shoot you with my gun" :)

My eternal favourite however was "Fly postman fly, bring a quick reply" :) :)

There were also those typical - 'please open with a broad smile (with a huge smile drawn next to it)

And all these would be written in coloured felt pen with a sticker or two of Snoopy...


Life in times of email is so unexciting. Sigh.
