Real son of the soil

Dear Mr Ratan Tata

 

Thanks to visionaries like you, these times seem like the best time to be an Indian. You make me very very proud, sir. The BIG cat's in the bag, and you have  done it all in style. You always do. The takeovers you lead, always leave a stunning silence. Tetley, Corus and now these. Not to mention the launch of Nano for the Aam Junta. You are a true industrialist, the real son of the soil. And I feel a strange pride in this takeover. Is it because of the UK connection? Maybe. But all in all, this morning's tea tasted even better with the front page news. For a change i read the paper from the front page (on other days i begin with the Bangalore Times).

Let the critics mutter away about the many challenges. When you create history, there will always be those skeptics, mumbling away, challenging every move.

Not all create history, not all are as inspired, not not all lead such astounding business deals.
